     As soon as practical, we will post here selected portions of the Legislative History of  The Elder Abuse and Dependent Adult Civil Protection Act ("EADACPA" pronounced ee-dak-pa).

 

    The Committee Reports in both the Assembly and the Senate explicitly indicated that a salient purpose of EADACPA was to make it economically practical for a lawyer to take and fully litigate a case involving a small but flagrantly wrongful financial abuse, or neglect abuse or physical assault abuse.
